Alejandra Gabriela Guzmán Pinal (Mexico City, Mexico, February 9, 1968) is a Mexican singer, actress, and songwriter of Rock in Spanish and Latin pop who has a net worth of $ 20 million dollars.
Alejandra Guzmán made her first television appearance at two months of age on her parents’ show, entitled “Silvia y Enrique”. Her preparation was very diverse since he traveled on the tours of his mother’s plays, made commercials, participated in television, made choirs for bands and even tried to venture into projects such as Garibaldi, Flans, and strawberries with cream. She participated in novels like “Cuando los hijos se van” and “Tiempo de Amar”.
Beginning of her career
After playing doors in different places and hidden from her parents, Alejandra had the opportunity of her life when in an audition the Spanish producer Miguel Blasco believed in her and produced her first album titled “Bye Mamá” which was published in 1988.
Alejandra published her second studio album in 1989 titled “Dame tu amor”, which includes versions of the songs: “Popotitos”, “The House of the Rising Sun”, “Satisfaction” by the Rolling Stones and a song by The Beatles.
Her third album “Eternamente Bella” was published in 1990. With a style more oriented to the Rock but with arrangements that include a section of metals and strings giving a more contemporary character than her two previous works. In 1991 Alejandra Guzmán presents her fourth album: Flor de Papel showing an unusual continuity of four albums in consecutive years.
At the height of her career, Alejandra Guzmán announced her pregnancy, the fruit of her love with businessman Pablo Moctezuma, from whom she would later be separated. A break of a year unedited new material, served for a big return in 1993 with his album “Libre”, signing a contract with BMG-Ariola which guaranteed its international projection.
“Enorme” Album (1994) and following works
In 1994 Alejandra Guzmán presents her sixth album entitled “Enorme” where she could not repeat the overwhelming success of her two previous albums.
“Cambio de Piel” (1996), constitutes the seventh album of Alejandra Guzmán, just as the previous album was a kind of natural descent of the artist. In 1997 she recorded her first live album, consisting of 16 songs and which includes 3 unpublished songs.
After changing records, she won her first Latin Grammy, thanks to Soy (2001) album where Alejandra begins her role as a composer. In 2004, Alejandra released her Lipstick record with her first track in English. In spite of the failure of this album in terms of sales, was nominated in two categories of the Grammys.
In 2007 Alejandra would fight against breast cancer, after surgery and treatment, Alejandra overcame the disease, and became a spokeswoman for “Iniciativa Ser”
In July of 2013, the participation of alejandra, as a coach, is confirmed in the Reality Show La Voz – Mexico, in his third season; A talent contest under the direction of Televisa with Miguel Angel Fox.
On October 8, 2013, Alejandra Guzmán presents her new single “Mi Peor Error” theme composed by John William Hartfiel, which is the theme of presentation for his album Primera Fila.
