Celebrity News: Mother and daughter joined the communal work of serving food and bringing food to families affected by the hurricane in their hometown of Houston.
Accompanied by Blue Ivy and her mom, Tina Knowles, Beyoncé visited St. Johns Church, a Houston Hurricane Evacuation Shelter, where she used to sing when she was little. Everything indicates that the church hosted an event of the R & B singer’s BeyGOOD Foundation, where food was taken to the victims and affected by Harvey hurricane, which has devastated different places in the United States. In addition to basic items, the foundation provided food and the company of celebrities who joined the cause as Michelle Williams, former partner of Queen B in Destiny’s Child.
Beyoncé was moved to tears during her visit hearing the testimony of the victims. Nevertheless, in the images published in her Instagram, it was evident that the singer brought joy to those present and gave an example of altruism to Blue Ivy, who also collaborated with some tasks and who seemed at ease.
“I just want to say that I love you, I sang my first solo here and I just want to thank you for raising my family, for praying for me and for being an incredible example of what light and love is,” Beyoncé said “You are all my family, Houston is my home and I thank God for being safe, that your children are safe,” she added.
