Celebrity News : The American Holly Holm, knocked out the Brazilian Bethe Correia in the third round with a forceful kick at the head of her opponent. This was the stellar UFC Fight Night No. 111 fight this Saturday in Singapore. The former champion of the female bantamweight division (61 kilos) of the UFC won a decisive victory in the third round. This was her first win since November 2015, when she beat American Ronda Rousey.
Holm, 35, took advantage of her range to take the first round. Although she did not endanger Correia, she dominated the actions with her lateral kicks to the abdomen. Her opponent, out of range, could not hurt her.
The second round was quite similar: Holly Holm throwing sporadic lateral kicks to the middle zone and Bethe Correia trying to shorten the distance in search of the exchange. At the end of the assault, the Brazilian managed to take the back of her rival but did not have enough time to work from that position.
Already in the third round, the former champion threw a powerful kick with her left leg that hit the face of Correia. The Brazilian fell to the canvas without reaction.
