Putting her life temporarily under the spotlight, with 41 cameras, Katy Perry – born Katheryn Hudson in a conservative Christian family in California – explained her struggle to attract attention.
“A lot of people are living in fear of something that happened in their childhood, or some form of PTSD they picked up along the way, and I created this wonderful character called Katy Perry that I very much am and can step into all the time, but I created that character out of protection” said the singer, while the tears made the mascara run down her cheeks.

So, Katy Perry has positioned itself ahead of other Twitter celebrities like Justin Bieber (with 96.7 million followers) and Barack Obama (with 90.8 million followers). More delayed still is Taylor Swift, its direct rival, with 85 million.
