To mark Father’s Day, the official Twitter account of Kensington Palace (@KensingtonRoyal), shares two moving images about fatherhood in two generations.
“Happy Father’s Day. Wishing all the fathers out there a very happy day ”
The publication is headed by a congratulation to all the fathers of the world, accompanied by the photographs: in the first, you can see Prince Charles next to his children, William the Duke of Cambridge, and Prince Harry.
Prince Charles poses with his children, who do not exceed 17 years old, very smiling and happy in a natural environment, showing a union between a father and his children.
In the second picture, one can see the evolution of one of the children of the first image, who became a man and now poses with his firstborn, for it is the Duke of Cambridge carrying Prince George, and the boy with the tenderness from his birth has characterized him, surrounds his father in a tender embrace.
Both photographs were published early on the 18th of June, through the palace’s official account, sending royal family congratulations to the rest of the world.
Controversy over the photo of Prince William
To celebrate Father’s Day the Kensington Palace published a photo on their social networks in which he congratulated this date, but a gesture so simple could not avoid being charged with controversy.
In the photo, only appears Prince William with its firstborn son, the Prince George, and omit his minor daughter, the Princess Charlotte.
The publication is an image composed by a photo archive of Prince Charles and Prince William – both smiling, with a more recent Prince with his son in his arms.
Immediately the users noticed this fact and they made it come through their comments: “Where is the photo with Charlotte?” Said a user “He also has a daughter!” Exclaimed another. “How strange is there only one picture with your son? Where is your daughter? ” Some even created a composition where Princess Charlotte appears:
For its part, the Kensington Palace has not spoken about it.
