Nicole Kidman (50) continues her television appearances. Following HBO’s hit “Big Little Lies,” the Oscar-winning filmmaker is seen in the new season of “Top of the Lake,” starring opposite Golden Globe winner Elisabeth Moss (“Mad Men”).
Nicole Kidman appeared next to the cast of the series in Sydney (Australia), where the premiere was developed. This time Moss was not present.
In “Top of the Lake” Nicole Kidman portrays Julia, the woman who adopted Mary, the daughter the researcher Robin Griffin gave for adoption as a teenager. The eventual meeting of Robin and Mary is a vital part of the new season.
