Celebrity News: An employee of a New York hospital was charged with illegally accessing the singer’s file after he entered for a possible testicle-related injury
On May 18, Justin Bieber made an emergency visit to Northwell Health Medical Center on Long Island to have his testicles examined after suffering a hard blow during a football game.
Sore, the singer was examined by the specialists. But it was just a scare. That same day he was discharged, as he had not suffered any injuries.
A woman named Kelly Lombardo, an employee of Northwell Health was fired because her supervisors alleged that she inadvertently accessed the star’s medical record after hearing rumors that she had been admitted for a sexually transmitted infection.
His legal representative, David H. Rosenberg, gave the details exclusively to the New York Post, a medium to which he reiterated his client’s innocence: “My client never acceded to Mr. Bieber’s medical file,” said the lawyer. “She was falsely accused of doing so because of her gender.”
The woman maintains – according to the aforementioned means – that she never had access to the clinical history of Bieber or any contact with him at all.
Lombardo denies that he was guilty of misconduct and filed a complaint of unjustified dismissal before the Human Rights Division in New York. He says she was fired for being a woman.
