Grammy-winner Adele canceled two sold-out shows at Wembley Stadium, informing fans Saturday night that her vocal cords were damaged and that a doctor had advised her not to act.
In a message through social networks, Adele said she was not in a position to give a show and did not want to “collapse” on the stage.
“To say I’m heartbroken would be a complete understatement. I’m already maxed out on steroids and aids for my voice. I’ve considered doing Saturday night’s show but it’s very unlikely I’d even make it through the set and I just can not crumble in front of you and walk out on you all that way”
Adele ended a 15-month tour of Europe, the United States, Australia and New Zealand. The pop superstar said she never liked the tours and had hinted that the present the album, “25” would be the last.
The 29-year-old British singer included a handwritten and signed a note on her show for Wednesday’s show at Wembley, where she said she do not know if she will be touring again.
The tour would have included a total of 123 shows if Adele had performed the concerts over the weekend. He performed at Wembley on Wednesday and Thursday.

Adele said that tickets will be refunded if she can not perform the concerts on a new date.
