Marvel surprises us today with the release of the first and breathtaking trailer for ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, the third adventure starring the God of Thunder. Recall that the staging is done by Taika Waikiti, co-director of ‘What We Do In The Shadows’ (2014) and more recently the author of ‘Hunt For The Wilderpeople’ (2016), Two very cool and fun movies that I recommend seeing right now.
After the correct but disappointing introduction to the world of Thor carried out by Kenneth Branagh and the mediocre sequel orchestrated by Alan Taylor, ‘Ragnarok’ promises to break with everything we have seen so far in the franchise and renew the superhero universe played by Chris Hemsworth.
Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson and Karl Urban are the main novelties in a cast that includes Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, and Idris Elba, but where Natalie Portman is not. Also noteworthy is the reappearance of Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner / Hulk, who as Thor did not participate in the ‘Civil War’ (Waititi made a great short to clarify the absence of both).
In addition to the actor losing his characteristic blonde mane in this new installment, it has caught the attention that his armpit appeared completely shaved. This has made social networks burn up wondering how the all-powerful Thunder God has time to shave his armpits.
‘Thor: Ragnarok’ premieres on November 3 in the United States and a little before it will reach the posters of lucky countries like Spain.
With rumors that Asgard is in trouble, Thor discovers that his evil brother, Loki, has been posing as his father, Odin, who has disappeared. The negligent government of Loki leads to the reappearance of the imprisoned Hela (Blanchett). It condemns Thor to Sakaar, a savage planet ruled by the charming but wicked Grandmaster (Goldblum).
There, Thor meets Valkyrie (Thompson), a hard warrior very much given to the drink that is hiding in Sakaar. The most popular and successful gladiator of Sakaar? Bruce Banner, also known as Hulk. Once Thor and Hulk get together, ‘Ragnarok’ becomes a road trip
